Christian Education

At Forest Lake Presbyterian Church, we strive for spiritual growth opportunities that encompass all age groups. We encourage our congregation to commit to the spiritual discipline of regular Bible study. Our class offerings reflect an effort to support individuals as they seek knowledge of God's Word. Coming this fall, we will include adult small group studies of Disciple. Our congregation is also encouraged to participate in The Essential 100, a structured plan for reading the 100 most formative passages in the Bible during the year.

Here at Forest Lake, we say, "Let the children come!" We are committed to the Christian Education of our children and youth. During worship services on Sunday morning, we provide a well-staffed nursery for infants through first grade. We offer Sunday School and Kirk Night classes from age 3 through twelfth grade, as well as special events throughout the church year.

Forest Lake Youth (FLY) shares fellowship and Christian growth on Sunday evenings and during the week. Opportunities abound for service through a variety of organizations such as the Souper Bowl and God's Storehouse. Lock-ins, ski trips, mission trips, retreats and the Third Thursday Youth Breakfast are just a few ways in which our young people connect with one another and their church family.
