Kirk Night
Kirk is the Scottish word for church. Thus Kirk Night, or Church Night, is a time set aside for Christian fellowship for all ages at Forest Lake Presbyterian Church. Kirk Night is on Wednesdays during the school year with breaks for school holidays. The evening starts with dinner and fellowship at 5:30 p.m., followed by a variety of programs for children, youth and adults. Programs and activities provided include speakers or studies for adults; programs for children and youth; choir for preschool, children and adults; handbells; and a nursery for very young children. Meals must be reserved in advance by signing a registration card found in the church pews or by calling the church office, 787-5672, by noon on Tuesday.
